Remembrance Parade 2019 – 10th November

The Poppy Day Appeal starts this year around the 24th October 2019.

Remembrance Sunday is on the 10th of November 2019. This year has included several significant Second World War 75th Anniversaries including D-Day and Arnhem. The Liss Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) is responsible for the coordination of Remembrance Tide activities in Liss.

This year the parade will form up at the new Pavilion and march from there to the War Memorial for the 11:00 Act of remembrance and Wreath Laying. The main truncated service will then take place in the Triangle attended by Councillors, RBL and cadet contingents and representatives from the other youth contingents.
